Sailing is your passion? Whether you're a hobby sailor or a professional - you've come to the right place. We are professional sailors ourselves in the Class 40 and have also sailed successfully in the Class MINI 6.5.

We now apply our knowledge as professional sailors to other boats in our Hamburg shipyard, which includes both boatbuilding and sailmaking. Almost everything we build has been tested by us under professional conditions and found to be good.

We are also happy to provide support with sail training, regatta preparations or transfers.

Take a look at our website and/or contact us if you have any questions.

We will be there for you quickly and uncomplicated!

Lennart Burke and Melwin Fink: 2 men – one passion

The fascination to sail grew as we were children and because of that we invested a lot of time and energy for our sailing campaigns as we were pupils. In 2021 we both took part in the Mini Transat, sailing single handed and were able to establish in professional sailing.

But we wanted more.

At the end of 2022 “Next Generation Boating GmbH” was founded and since then we are sailing together as “Next Generation Sailing Team”. With a lot of ambition, motivation and enthusiasm we face new challenges of this sailing class all time and keep on building up our skills in the international offshore sailing races.

Our results up to now in class 40 races:

2nd place

Caribbean 600

15th place

Transat Jacques Vabre

4thplace Rolex Fastnet Race

8th place Normandy Channel Race

4th place Arcore Race

CLASS 40.

With a length of 12,5 metres the class 40 is one of the most attractive class of the international offshore sailing scene. It is known as the entry between class mini and the Imoca class (Vendée Globe) and fascinates thousands of spectators all over the world to starting and finishing harbors. These boats impress with their high technical design and their high speed.

Most famous races of this class are for example the Rolex Fastnet Race or the Transat Jaques Vabre, one of the hardest doublehanded race of the world.

The class mini 6.5 got his name because of the short length of 6.50 meters. It is the entering boat class for singlehanded sailing. Sailed are races at the coasts or transatlantic. Especially the Mini Transat Race is fascinating people worldwide as the skipper has to sail without any contact to the outside world facing the challenges of the Atlantic ocean.

Our individual coachings will support your knowledge in sailing. Be free to choose if we practice coaching on your own boat, on board of our class mini 6.50 or on board of our class 40. For sure we like to support you starting your own racing or cruising campaign.

You are planning a change of sailing area or you have bought a vessel in a foreign country and plan to take it to your home harbor? We would be happy to transport your boat with a small crew and as fast as possible to the area you want to have it.
